The first stop is the visit to the volcano, Vesuvius. When the driver reaches 1000 meters, there is an info point where you must buy the tickets. The cost of it is about 10 euros, and it also includes a local tour guide that will explain everything concerning the Vesuvius and the minerals surrounding the crater. Then the driving continues up to the parking spot, situated 10 meters away from the entrance to the cavity. The excursion takes from 30 minutes to 2 hours; it depends on what you decide to do.

There are two options to choose from: the first one is in the winery 'Cantina del Vesuvio,' located at the foot of the mountain, with a fantastic view.
